winter performance
#1
I'm strongly considering buying a 2002 TL. I live in rural hilly Connecticut and winter driving is an issue. My last 2 cars have been a Subaru and an Audi Quattro...both all wheel drive cars, and fantastic in bad weather. I've always wanted an Acura, and the Audi repairs are killing me. Bottom line...how does the TL perform in the winter? Can I climb a hill with several inches of fresh snow? Will I need snow tires? 2 or 4? Thx.

Peter,
I think you will be just fine. Make sure you have a good set of all weather radials M + S rated. As with any car alot has to do with your driving and not so much the car. It has traction control and front wheel drive so its not bad. Its not a Chevy pickup or nothing but its not bad for a car. IF you stick with the stock size tires with a good tread your better off. The wider the tire the harder it is to cut through the snow.Good Luck,
Dan
