I have a 800lb (sailboat & trailer) capacity. Is there any super no no's about doing this. Besides not driving in overdrive? Acura has replaced my tranny and motor mounts free of charge, God love them. I understand it may void my warranty, which is not my question. Is this a big strain on this car? I've looked for aftermarket transmission oil cooler, without luck. Any help or experiance is appreciated.

With the troubles we have with this car's transmission.
from 99 to 03 TL's and CL's. The best thing to tell you is DON'T DO IT. I've installed 100's of them. Sorry it's just not a good thing.

call me at the shop and i can set you up with a aftermarket transmission oil cooler and remote filter.

i would do this add even if i wasnt towing the boat.

call vince or dave at scotts 970-498-0662

the problem the acura/honda automatic transmissions is that there is NO filter in them so all that junk get recirculated right back through the gears and clutches.

the cooler will add more fluid to its system capacity and the filter (well it filters ).
