I have an 02 TL-S and I have a question about the door sash trim. These are the plastic pieces that are black and at the rear of the front door and the front of the rear door (between the windows). I am sure it is a common thing, but they have a clear coat on them and this is peeling off. Has anyone repainted them? Got any advice? My car is Black, but there are blue flecks in the black. The sash trim seems to be a standard black.

Finally, how do they come off? I found a screw at the top, but do I have to take the door panel off to access the lower screw?
