New to this forum but wondering what anyone has heard about the next gen 09 TL? Ready to buy but holding off on an 08 to see what the new body style looks like and hoping for AWD. They could drop the tape deck but now I am really getting picky.

Take this with a grain of salt. My local Acura dealer tells me not to wait of course, great deals on the 08. He went on to say that word on the street is thatthe new body style looks Camry(ish). He said the public won't see the09 until about 60 days prior to an estimated September 08 release.

I thought they might unveil it at the NAIAS show in Detroit in January but he said no way! Is what the dealer says fact or fiction? If you have heard anything please respond. I sure hope the 09 doesn't look anything like a Camry but if it does it will make my decision to get an 08 easy.

Keep hoping to seea pic leaked without camoflauge. Thanks

If the stealer's mouth is moving, he is probably lying. He, of course, wants you to buy now and will tell you whatever he has to tell you to get you to buy now.

Stay in touch with some of the auto spy sites and you may find something. Here's what I found in a quick search: http://www.worldcarfans.com/6070730....ura-sedan-prot otype-spy-shots

Unfortunately at this point, all you are going to see is camoflaged bodies.

i just bought an 08 tl and of course i had the same question. my sales rep said that the new 09 tl is gonna have the current rl front end and the back is rounded off more instead of the square-ish look it has now, more like the newer accords.

i work for an acura dealership and i always tell people "if you want a great deal and like the style of the tl and do not care to have the latest and greatest thing then buy one now. But for me i like having the latest and greatest thing since you are paying a lot of money might as well have the newest car!" Im waiting to see the new tsx i have a fa5. if i ever hear anything about the tl ill let people know on this site, but i wouldnt expect too much for performance, i thought they should have put the rdx motor in the tsx and call it a tsx type -s =)
