I'm 16 years old, just got my liscense. Interested in getting a TL or maybe a Mustang (I wish I could get a Cobra, off topic...). Anyway, I have to pay for insurance and whatnot so I was wondering how much in general it would be? If someone could help me out with my decision, that would be great.

insurance on a TL would be cheaper than a Mustang 'cause most teenagers can afford a Mustang and not a TL.

TL is a luxury sports sedan for young adults (22 and up) while Mustangs are sports cars generally driven by teens (15 and up).

Ok I dont know where you're getting your facts frombut majority of mustang owners are from the ages of 25 - 40. In terms of insurance, I just bought a TL, my previous car was a Mustag GT. If you buy any car the insurance is high, if you are insuring a used car, first and foremost, Mustangs are considered sports cars. They have a much! higher insurance rate than an Acura TL.

Here is an example, I'm insuring my 08 TL for the same price i was insuring my 01 GT... go figure. Im not even going to start on your age.Edited by: macfahad
