Hands Free phone setup
#1
I brought home a 2008 TL yesterday. Today I attempted setting up the
hands free cell phone feature. After 3 tries the car finally paired with my
wife's phone. After 10 attempts I gave up trying to get my phone to pair.
Both phones are the same, LG VX5400. My carrier is Verizon. BTW, the
folks at the Verizon store had no clue as to why the second phone wouldn't
link.
Got any ideas? Thanks.Edited by: RonH

Hey... had a similar problem with my Motorola ROKR through Cellular South. The car found my phone but they were unable to pair.
So... I called the handsfreelink toll free number and the phone rep was very helpful. She told me to take the battery out of my phone for at least 10 seconds and put it back in. This is what she called the soft reboot process.
I didn't think it would work, but I tried it and BINGO! Worked the 1st time and I absolutely love the hands free feature in my TL.
Good luck...
