2005 TL Clock Adjustment broken

I bought my 2005 TL new about 16 years ago. I don't recall if the navigation system ever correctly managed Daylight Savings Time correctly. It was always possible to use the "Clock Adjustment" function to add an hour when needed.

This year, the Time Adjustment buttons do not work, even if the Auto Daylight Savings Time and Auto Time Zone by GPS options are off.

The navigation system shows Software version 1.3800, Database version 20060623, Database area Continental U.S.A. I'm wondering if an update to the final version from 2014 might correct this.

Are there other 2005 TL owners here who might report if they can adjust their clock?

Our 2005 TL has the 2014 version of navigation system and discovered clock adjustment is not working also in late March. So far we don't have any idea for the root cause.

I'm Experiencing The Same Thing

I have a 2005 TL as well and my clock is about 1 1/2 hours off. I do remember that it used to update automatically for daylight savings and then the date of the time changed was moved. I used to be able to adjust the clock during the two week difference. Now my clock is stuck and the adjustment controls have no affect. Was hoping someone found a solution.

Same problem here. 2005 TL with Navi.
Any solutions available?

I have a 2005 TL. The clock is not working as the calendar functions are not working.

According to Honda, at first they said they have not heard of this. After calling a couple of Acura dealers they commented many have the same problem and Honda has no answer.

I filed a case and was eventually told it was a satellite issue and they needed to update their firmware. Apparently, this problem dates back a couple of years and affects certain Honda and TL models. How difficult can updating firmware by updating software be?

My suspicion is they do not want to dedicate resources for older models. This makes sense since my bluetooth module went out and there is no replacement. The dealer agreed and said others have tried to locate a replacement.

Last time I buy Honda or Acura!!!
