2000 Acura 3.2TL Humming sound! annoying!
 

I have a 2000 Acura 3.2TL, and I am a new Acura driver, only had this car for 3 months, recently a loud humming noise is coming from the front while driving and is louder at lower speeds, its not the tires they are brand new, its some type of bearing, I replaced the Intermidiate shaft bearings (2) of them but my mechanic believes that it is in the transmission...I am trying not to take this thing to the DEALER, any recommendations on what it is?

I guess I'm not the only one who never gets any decent answers on this forum.

I seemed to have the same problem, i have a 99 3.2 TL and i had a loud humming sound. I thought it was my bearings too, however my mechanic and i realized it was the back plates behind the brakes. They were rubbing against each other it got louder when u slowed down as well. Check that out not sure if it helps!
