In reading all the posts, I see alot of these cars have transmission issues. I called the dealer about a TL that I am looking at 03 tls with 55k on it. I gave them the VIN # and they told me this one did not have the extended warranty on the drivetran, because it was affected with the transmission issues, they said not all are covered because not all are affected. Does this sound correct????

It is my understanding that they are covering them to 175,000kms under a non advertised repair policy.

if it been titled salvage at any point they may choose to not cover anything

call another dealer and ask.
