Well I guess I just can't catch a break because after
paying the $429 to get the driver's side replaced, the passenger side bulb is going out now too. To the best of my knowledge there is no leak in there but could the bulb just be going out or could there be an electrical problem? I thought that they didn't need to be replaced in pairs? Maybe the last owner did replace them in pairs and this light is just now going out. Keep in mind I just posted about the drivers side here https://www.acuraforums.com/forum_po...?TID=3825&PN=1 I am not happy about this hopefully the dealership will cut me some slack. |
Sounds like your headlights are just at that end of their life. Your driver side bulb going out may not have had anything to do with the moisture in the headlight. Just the end of the bulbs expected life. How many miles do you have on your tl? I doubt they have been replaced yet. They were probably the original bulbs. If that is the case, you just got 6 years out of a pair of automotive bulbs, nothing to complain about there! Thats the great thing about HIDs they cost a lot but they look great and last for a long time. You could ask for some slack... but i wouldn't go in expecting it. I think the price you'll have to pay sucks, but justified. You got your moneys worth from the first bulbs. Pay now knowing you can probably get another 6 years out of the next ones. Deffinately consider yourself lucky for their help on the Driver side. I hope it's the cheaper of the two possible components (bulb, or inverter) Edited by: Greenbling |
