</>Newbie with a question y'all.

I hear that these cars suffer from tranny problems, possibly caused by the oil cooler (oil cooler too small).

Is this true, and if so, what is the best recommended market or aftermarket replacement cooler out there ( and how much does it cost) ?

I bought my Ac last year, and have had it in storage since. Hope to take it out soon.

Thanx!

no the problem with these transmissions is due to the fact that there is no filter in the system.

napa sells a cute little inline for about 50 bucks or less

very easy to install and i recommend every one with a automatic to get 1 in asap.

keeping up on fluid changes helps

Thanx for the reply legend.

Is that "inline" a transmission filter?, and will this give me peace of mind?

I am in panic mode, and ready to unload to avoid any future headaches and heartache.
