Hey,

I am new to the Acura RSX... I want to buy one... I was wondering if the Acura RSX Type S is offered optionally with a clutchless/tiptronic transmission, such as those put in the BMW M3. If it isn't, is there an aftermarket transmission (clutchless/tiptronic) that u can put in it? Any help would be helpful. My friend has a BMW M3, and I fell in love with the clutchless/tiptronic transmission. Thanks.

no, the final running model RSX type S model is exclusivly a 6 speed manual, if you were to go for another transmission type it would have to be done as an aftermarket, though keep in mind if you do any kind of altering you will void the 6 year 70k mile warranty Edited by: KevinRobinson

Dude if you want a rsx with a tiptonic shifter you have to get the base model, its what i had to do because i also wanted the tiptonic shifter. But i also had to add a good looking veilside bodykit and a cupple power adders to match the type s.< =""><!--

SymReal = window.;
window. = Sym;
}
