Default 2002 Type-S with Bose system... AUX? FM Transmitter?

I just got a 2002 Type-S . I really like this car as a secondary vehicle, but I am spoiled on the 12" screen in my Ram. I tried buying a Car Play screen that does FM transmitter to gain the music from my iPhone. Navigation on the cheap little screen from Amazon was awesome. Sound was AWFUL! So now my quest is to figure out how to get bluetooth/aux through the Bose system. I REALLY don't want to spend the money on a new head unit, have to bypass the Bose amp etc... I have looked at the GTA and Grom devices but they are not compatible with the Bose setup. It genuinely looks like my only choices are completely tearing the car apart and spending a fortune, OR simply finding a higher quality FM transmitter. There is a Scosche one on the Crutchfield site that is about $40, That same exact transmitter in a different color is on Amazon for $20. I returned the Car Play device, and have come to the conclusion that I simply need to find a decent device for FM Transmission. Any suggestions on a quality Transmitter, OR a hack for getting aux or bluetooth into this thing would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
