Low speed misfiring on 2014 rlx
Hi
I have a 2014 Acura RLX with about 83,000 miles. Once the car warms up, the engine starts to misfire, only when I accelerate. I just recently replaced the spark plugs, and ignition coils. Before that one of the first things I did was to use gas additives, (Juel Fuel, and DB-K44), about 6 times. There are no indicators on the dashboard. I can see the tachometer drop a little when the misfiring happens. I usually back off the gas when this happens, but often I can push through the misfire depending on how I step on the gas. It doesn't happen when I'm going up a hill, and most of the times I can push through the misfire to go faster (50 mph and higher. The is no misfiring while I'm cruising on the highway at 60 or more. |
