Hey,

I just bought a 1998 Acura 3.5 RL and will be picking it up this Friday. As a newbie I have two question regarding my car.

1. My RL is a base edition and not the premium, can I put a navigation system (either Acura or aftermarket)?

2. The color of my RL is beige, for tinting is it a good color (this is technical my car)? If no, what color would you guys recommend?

Thanks for your answers.

so far my luck with factory stuff into a non equipped car has been veryVERY BAD dont do it. go aftermarket. those fit nice and work well. and im betting its 1/3rd the cost of the factory stuff (even used).

i dont think i would tint it with a Blue color window tint.

but black works with all colors.

chrome looks good sometimes.

and i do recommend tint. if for no other reason it will keep the uv from burning up that upholstry.

I don't really like blue color window tint but I would definitely get black tints. How much do think the aftermarket navigation system would cost me? Do aftermarket systems also have option of controlling the music?

I was also thinking of changing body color from beige to black, how do yo think this will set me back?

Thanks for your answers.

I myself, would go for black tints also. In terms of the navigation system I would prefer a aftermarket option. Thanks!
