I have the SRS light on my 2000 RL, I took it to the dealer and had it checked out. The dealer told me that it was the drivers side belt buckle. I purchased the buckle and replaced it my self, but it did not make the light go away. I disconnected the battery for a little bit to see if it resets the ECU but the light is still on. Can some one help me? Thank you in advance. Edited by: eljefe1981 |
Go to www.pdftown.com and search on "Acura RL". Download the free 40 MB tech manual. There is a section on the SRS. Troubleshooting on page 24-35

Thank you for the information. I took it to the dealer and all it needed was for the code to be erased from the memory. Once again thank you. By the way, the dealership did it free of charge since they were the ones who diagnose the belt buckle in the first place. Edited by: eljefe1981 |
