Totaled?

I bought this 2020 on 4/14/24. Ten minutes after leaving the lot, I was rear ended while being stopped in traffic. Do y’all think it’s totaled?

Ten minutes of driving bliss!

Arrrgh!
Similar area on my old ‘04 CR-V, though the degree of damage was not nearly this bad. My car was declared a total loss as its value (Allstate Insurance) at the time was too close to the cost of repairs.
Your damage looks pretty severe but current value vs. cost of repairs could go either way. Also depends on body shop labor rates where you live.

Keep us posted!

I would say "totaled" is highly likely. I see lots of major replacement parts that of course add up in cost. A few years back I had a car totaled and was quite surprised. The adjustor told me the value was worth more as parts than the cost to repair. That mainly was due to the front end having no damage so the engine, transmission audio, navigation, etc. and all related components were still useable on the used parts market.
