torque steer 2017 RDX

Ok just had my tires changed went from factory Michelin Prima to Goodyear sport. The car now has a strong torque steer that was never there before. It shows up under moderate to heavy acceleration. Tire store found the back two tires were mounted wrong....lettering says face inside and they were facing outside....so that has been corrected... the front two were mounted correctly. The problem still exists. The car only has 43K on the clock and front end is tight primas were losing traction hence the change, the wear pattern was perfect...It seems like it has to be the tires....Any thoughts???

Fixed

Well it turns out they rotated and balanced tires and fixed the improper installation. The car now has zero torque steer. I never would have thought rear tires could create such a problem.

That’s interesting. If your car has sh-awd it would make sense that tires could have such an effect on torque steer, given how complicated the system is.
On my old ‘07 the system works well and encourages spirited cornering. Still using Michelin six-year old Michelin Defenders (lots of meat left.)
