Looking for an advice

Hello Everyone,

I am looking to buy a second-hand RDX (2019-2021), In some places, I saw some reliability issues, Which year do you recommend ? I am looking for a Tech or similar trim level.
I have heard high noise levels etc on the older models.
Can you advise me on this matter?
Regards,
Marsin

Bought a 2017 RDX tech back in 2020. Had 45K on the ODO. Fast forward to now and vehicle now has 76K on the ODO. It is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven and has been rock solid as I have had zero issues with it. Also own a 2008 Pilot which as the same engine. That vehicle has over 190,000 on the ODO and it is still going strong. I can tell you that when I bring the vehicle in for service, I get a 2021/2022 RDX as a loaner. No comparison in terms of comfort and pick-up.

Thanks so much for the information, I was looking for the latest generation and saw a couple of 2019 and 2020 models on the lot then saw some posts about the first releases having some issues.Since the cars are still under warranty, I do not think that something major will not be covered.

My only advise is if you are looking at the current generation RDX, steer clear of the first model year (2019). Give a 2018 some consideration.
