Default 2022 RDX - Post Startup Messaging

Hi all... new to the forum.

Just got delivery of 2022 RDX... this is my 6th or 7th RDX... anywho...

After starting the car, the main display now shows the new seatbelt 'map' visual, showing which of the 5 seating locations have people in them, and if so, which has their seatbelt fastened (Red/Green). Good concept, except, it stays on the display WAAAAY too long, even after everything is green (everyone in the car has their seatbelts on) ... I have to manually hit the 'dismiss' button every time to get rid of it. Same goes for the Lane Departure system that I turned off... that message has to be manually dismissed also.

Is there any way to keep these messages from showing up on the screen at startup? Or at minimum, have them automatically be dismissed much FASTER than current?

Many thanks for any help!!

Did you happen to get a PMC edition? Have you looked under the front tire area and noticed rust on a part? I got the PMC edition 2 months ago and both front tire "knuckles" ( not sure what the real name is) - are covered with rust. All other parts are new, clean and shiny. Check yours and let me know .
And, my car seat belt notification also stay on quite a while, but eventually goes off by itself.
thanks

Hi.. I did not get the PMC... I have the Advance trim. Wheel wells look ok to me... although living in MN... it was covered in snow, salt and grime within 5 min of pulling off the lot, so hard to say until about April!

The messaging does go off but very inconsistent... depending if the car was remote started or not... its a bit odd, but not a huge deal. Thank you for the reply!

New 2022 RDX TORONTO.I have been averaging 14 lt /100 km on premium GAS. Is this NORMAL?
Does it make a difference to have 88 octane for GAS
