2020 rdx 3g-5g
 

I bought a 2020 RDX from a non-Acura dealer and when I went to activate AcuraLink I was told that my vehicle is 3G and in order to use AcuraLink it must be 5G. After digging around it seems that I need the AcuraLink®: Over the Air Software Update for Wireless Network Upgrade which is something that has to be done at an Acura dealership. I don't see the dealership that I didn't buy my car from being overly accommodating for me on this.

The dealership I purchased from told me that I could have all of the features included in AcuraLink in the car's current condition. Turns out that's not trus. Just trying to figure out how to fix this mess. Has anyone switched over to 5G after the cutoff date from Acura?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any idea what a dealership might charge to do this update?
