2007 RDX Knock sensor crossed thread
 

From Southen Cali Needs help . Will helicoil kit remedy fix my cross threaded for knock sensor mounting hole.? Anyone know if Acura service will even touch this for repair. Thank you . New to forum

People have been known to do this and there are numerous videos that cover the process. I think rather than go to a dealer, especially in light of the vehicle being a 2007, I would seek out a good independent shop in your area unless you can handle the work yourself. One video in particular that covers a Honda product is at
