08 RDX Open or Shorted Circuit

Hey everyone I hope this post is in the right area first off.

My Situation

ABS/VSA lights on dash so I scanned it and got a left rear speed sensor failure. I then ordered it from RockAuto (killer place) and installed it only to see the lights were still on and now the scanner says right rear open or shorted circuit.

I find it odd that it was not showing right rear on the scanner at first. After installing the lft rear Speed sensor as mentioned above the right rear open or short condition came up stating difference in wheel speeds detected which if clear as the left has a new speed sensor and the right is new so I think clearly a issues with wiring or any other ideas?

To test he circuits I should have continuity from the sensor harness back up to the brake modulator correct? The issue is not the speed sensors as they were both replaces so I am trying to find some knowledge out there as I am good with a voltmeter i jsut need some specs. 2008 Acura RDX. Cheers Thanks in advance if there is a savior.

Did you try clearing all the codes to see if the code reapperas? If so then my next guess would be a connection or faulty wiring. Electrical problems suck. :)

Hey man

Yes, most definitely I did clear the codes at home with the scanner and they came up again. VSA?ABS AWD i believe are the 3 lights on.. SO yes open broken wire I think. Is there any way to trace the broken wire in the harness besides a tone generator? Also should the abs sped sensor conductors (lines) have continuity from the sensor harness up to the abs modules?

Thanks bro
