TSX? `04, `05, `06? I’ve got “around” $13-$16K to work with. Been looking at Ratings/Reviews, "TCO" (True Cost to Own), etc., etc., etc. I think I’m probably going to be A LOT more comfortable in a TSX. I’m getting old, had a lot of surgeries (4 on the back/spine – 4 on the right [ACCELERATOR] ankle/leg), and I think I need the armrest (no RXS’s w/armrest – correct??). I’ve (pretty much) decided on an Auto. Trans – like I said, I’m getting old, and really just not into a whole lot of “extra work” any longer. Speed/power/performance/quality (<<--w/one exception-->>)maintenance-repair/resale are not really issues for me (not with an Acura) – and I understand that either model will do what I want it to – which is basically to commute, travel, etc. Not looking to “race” anyone or set any land-speed records. MPG’s is a consideration, as is insurance cost. TRANSMISSION QUALITY IS A HUGE CONCERN for me. Though I am absolutely in love with the shifters on these vehicles, I am not buying the transmission for how it “looks”. Somebody help me out here. Like I said, I’ve been all over the internet, but I don’t believe half of what I read online – and I check the other half out. Hoping some “good guys” here will help steer me straight! It sounds like the TSX could be a great fit for you. I havea friend who's had one for about a year now and loves it. I know that's not long but Acura's are pretty reliable vehicles. Before my friend bought the TSX, he had an Integra and never had any trouble with the tranny until he put well over 200k miles on it....and he was very rough on the car. I hope this helps. Best of luck. |
