How to go into detail about characters' appearences without straying off topic?
I'm a sucker for detail, and when I write stories, I feel the need to give details on what the characters look like. How can I do that without straying off topic, because I usually stray off topic, and I don't want that to happen, but I want to give details on what the characters look like? How do I do that? Amateur writer in need! Haha
