help nsx problem

I have a '99 and the reception comes and goes in bursts at consistent
intervals, not as though it is a loose connection - from AM, FM, or CD
mode. Any thoughts? New radios expensive as is, I am sure, repair.

i had a accord doing the same thing a few months ago.
all i did to fix the problem was unplug and replug the antenna wire back into the radio.
doing so scrubbed the corrosion off the plug and gave it a great connection again. some dialetric grease in there would insure it wont happen again.
do this first.
if it fixes it then we got lucky.
if not it only cost you 15-30 min and a little tube of grease.
