Hey just picked up this car and I am in love. It is so
friggin sweet. I got it in Kinetic Blue Pearl and I'm
already looking to make some upgrades to it.

I'm really kind of just starting to learn about the
possibilities and wanted some opinions.

First off I've heard all the bad stories about the
transmissions and I'm pretty sure that mine is in the
range of VINs which needed them to be replaced but
according to the carfax there is no record of it being
replaced and it has 81000 miles on it so hopefully that
won't be an issue. I've heard that there is a special
performance computer that you can put in it that adjusts
the timing of shifting gears.

What cold air intake system would you guys recommend.
I'm also looking to get new rims and performance brakes.
I'm sure you guys have some options that you can give me
but just wanted to say hey and I'm pumped to have a nice
car finally!!

awsome car and i find having the transmission fluid changed NOT flushed every 30k miles or less will do wonders in keeping it alive.

as far as upgrades i know there is tons of stuff. just do a lot of homework before taking the leap.
