Third owner of a 99 with only 48K. Red/black, standard options and still with the original Michelins! Original owner reported the tranny was slipping in 2nd, so the dealer replaced the fluid and it has been fine since. The Dealer told me the tranny is covered under warranty until 109K. I realize these cars have issues so I will see how it goes. Also, the passenger speaker is not working. I'll be doing some research on the site to see what my options are with the stereo.

Overall first driving impressions are very good. Car feels very solid, good steering feedback, good brakes and nice suspension. Not too firm, not too soft. Back seat is quite big too.

So far very pleased.

Now that you have driven it for a longer period of time, how does it feel?

It seems to be just fine. I've been shifting it in sport mode and I do not feel any hesitation. I just took it to Chicago this weekend and it did great on the trip. Cruises at 90 with good gas mileage and very smooth and quiet. I have replaced the door speakers which sound quite a bit better.

Speaking with the dealer the told me the warranty on the tranny is 109K miles or 9years, 9months. I'll certainly be over on the time than the miles. I wonder if the tranny were to go after the 9/9 mark if they would still cover it say it has 65K miles?

All in all, I'm quite pleased.
