Are they classified as "sports car" for insurance reasons? thanks guys -quadracer420 |
Insurance will definately go up. You can call your insurance company with the vin# and they can get you a rough quote. Yhe car looks like a good deal if it comes w/ everything pictured. something on the vin# looks off from the pictures. The seller lists the car as a LS with a V-TEC. LS's don't have V-TEC. The 4th - 6th digits are the body and engine type. "DC2"or B18C1is a GSR type integra w/ V-TEC but the pictures of the engine look like a "DC4" or B18B1 which is a LS or GS type integra without V-TEC. Make sure the Vin# on the engine matches the one on the car. Cops don't like when they don't match in an Integra.

ok so what if he swapped the motor? ill check into it. What do you guys think a good price on a car like that is?

Sorry it took meso long to reply. If the VIN #'s don't match, one or the other might be hot (stolen). When the numbers don't match on a Honda/Acura cops will have an impound first, ask questions later kinda attitude(4-5 times they are right). This dudes story seems sketchy. That car looks nice and shouldbe easy to sell for 4.5-6k maybemore. Why on E-bay? he might get stuck for 3500.List that car on craigs list at 5k and he'll sell it in a week, IF the numbers are clean. Sounds fishy. |
