Yeah, I'm new to this forum. I notice there are almost no replies to new people. I just left custommagnums.com. They know how to greet a newbie. Well, the reason for the switch was because my wife is currently driving our 05 Dodge Magnum which I was going to take when I got back. Just recently I found a 92 Acura in excellent condition maintained by a mechanic. I was going to buy it for my wife. After looking at it, she says it was too low for her taste. So, she's going to buy it for me. God I love her. So, now I'm surfing around for a good forum to share info on. Hopefully this is the one.

First, I would like tothank you and your familyfor serving our country. That said, welcome toAcura forums[img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img] Your icon is kinda distorted but it looks like a DA Integra. Is this the car? if not what model is it. My advice is any time you buy a used Honda/Acura, make sure the VIN# matches on the car and engine. Then call the local state troopers with the VIN#and check to make sure the vehicle and or enginearen't stolen. Ask the seller when the timing belt was last changed (every 80k). If they don't know, trust me it wasn't even if the car is at 100k+ miles. Adjust your offer accordingly(about 500-700 bucks)LOOK at the engine bay. EvenIif the engine has been detailed, look for leaks at the gaskets and connectors. these are signs of quick fixes or neglect. Good luck!
