Hey guys, Im looking for some help. I own a 1996 Acura Integra LS, 4dr, 5-sp and I am a college student. I live about 140 miles from my school and I usually have to drive home on weekends for work. What I was wondering is I drive the thru way back and forth from school to home, and my average speed on the highway is about 75-78mph, when im driving at that speed my RPM's are at 3500 or more. I was wondering if there is any way that I can lower the RPMs because I end up burning almost half a tank of gas just one way, which drivin a smaller car like this just doesnt seem right. If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to lower my RPMs or somehow get better gas mileage that would be great! Thanks for the input

Slow down to 60 MPH and you will save gas right away..check tires for correct air pressure and make sure your car is tuned up and has a new o2senser..
