Can you open the drivers side door from the inside (with the latch) with the doors locked? My wife has been telling me she has been doing it for years, but after a recent door problem, it no longer can be done.

If the doors are locked, you must use the switch or push up the button to be able to exit the car. Is this normal?

I don't think that's normal. What is that recent door problem that you were saying? Anyway, try to check the door lock switch. Best of luck.
