Acura MDX vs Infiniti QX60
 

With just 2 days of ownership (actually leased) of the MDX, traded in for the 2016 QX60, notwithstanding all the Utube comparison videos and ratings, there are some significant pros and cons to each from real world experience - no Manufacturer influences.
Everyone Blasts the CVT trannis which is in the QX60s. I found it engaging with immediate response to throttle. Not so much with the Acura with its 9 sp AT. Yes, CVTs take getting used to, but the 4th generation CVT from Nissan (and Infiniti), was fine by me. I don't know about longevity,but mine had 56K miles in 3 years , never a problem. I drove a newer model QX60 as a loaner which had the peppier V6 (up t 295HP and 270lbs Torque) which was up from my 2016.

MDX handles better and I like the grip offered with SH-AWD.

The Infiniti came with a 15 speaker Bose sound system which was much superior to the ELS 10 speaker in the MDX without the Entertainment package in my MDX

Lastly for now, Acura pricing is better than a Fully Loaded QX60. And I really like the shape of the MDX over the QX60. My new MDX in Canyon Bronze Metallic with Espresso leather is a Beauty, already received many compliments on the color.

I'll post more comments as I drive her some more. But in another thread, I have some problems already with Shimmy in the front end and seems to have warped front disk brakes as it vibrates when hitting the brakes at highway speeds.
