Hello experts..... Does anyone have any feedback on whether to get the factory installed Black or Silver rails and cross bars? Is there a difference in the amount of weight they can support, or the way the various accessories attach, etc and so forth? Any feedback is appreciated.

It depends on what you intend to put up there. I would recommend a Thule system with a clam shell for general items, or a item specific attachment, say for snow boards, skis, etc. If you're thinking of bikes, go with a hitch mount with a drop option for Hatch access.
