Hello everyone, new to forum and may have a problem and was wondering if anyone can give some advice and/or if they have the same problem.

My 05 MDX (Touring) w/ 50K on it seems to be losing power and gas mileage, slightly. In park and/or neutral it idles roughly, it does not "miss" a cylinder but you can feel that it is not a smooth idle like it use to be. I was getting an average of 18m/gal driving around in the suburbs and ~27m/gal highway at a steady 65mph, ~25m/gal highway at 70+mph. It had a really good take off power that would never go above 3K/3.5K RPM when I needed it to move and now it will go to at least 4K RPM with the same call for power on take off. I took it in to the dealer where I bought it to have them look at it on machine, they said:

1. Nothing wrong, not missing any cylinders, all intake and emission sensors showing normal if not better than average activity.

2. Rough Idle due to additive in gas (Ethanol) and could be water in fuel.

I have added dry gas to on my first tank since dealer visit (as recommended by the dealer) and the rough idle seems to be gradually going away and maybe even a little bit more power. However, I am not convinced that something else may be wrong...

I love this vehicle and I just don't want a problem that can be fixed to get a point of disater. I take very good care of it (a lot on my own) and it has always run in tip top shape, as mentioned, except for now.

Anything to look for or somehting else I can do?

Thanks in advance for you input!
