I have 1997 legend. I had some wire son passenger side relays start smoking and then the car shut off. had someone look at it and they spliced wires and the car started but melted again. I think the guy spliced wires wrong because colors did not all match. what could be the reason the wires melted in first place. how do I fix.

i'm starting to really not want to buy this cheap legend i'm thinking about getting.


they seem to have tons of electrical gremlins.


seems to me like that section of the harness is getting too much voltage most likely because something else isn't taking up some of the excess.

i do understand the electrical systems in these cars.
