My speedometer bounces every now and then, sometimes it does not register the speed correctly, I am thinking that the cabke going to the transmission is going bad, any ideas? |
Your speed sensor is bad, you either replace it or you can by a speed sensor repair kit its about $75.00 on ebay. Onced its prepaired, all your issues will go away.

Thanks for the info, where is the speed sensor located? |
THE SPEED SENSOR IS IN THE FRONT OF THE EXTERNAL DIFF. YOU ONLY NEED TO BUY THE ELECTRICAL PORTION OF IT. IT SCREWS INTO THE TOP OF IT. YOUR CAR HAS NO SPEEDO CABLE. IT IS ELECTRONIC. THERE IS A MECHANICAL GEAR SHAFT AND HOUSING THAT SLIDES INTO THE DIFF WITH THE ELECTRICAL PART ON TOP. I USE TO CHANGE THESE ALL THE TIME FOR THE SAME PROBLEM
