i was wondering if i should put 2 10" subwoofers or 3 8" subwoofers

 

first of all what car do you dirve, on a compact car one ten or one 12 is way good enough. on a mid to full size car i go for 1 12inch JlW7 subs. All you need in one. But if money is the problem two 10s will be way cheaper thn one nice subs. Really up to you but the best setup would be a nice monoblock amp with one nice sub.

 

how much are you willing to spend? another this is a bit complicated to wire a 3 sub system so would need an nice amp to power it. 2 10s is better and it would save more space, just be sure that it is powered well and boxed on the right specs.

I don't think i have ever seen any1 with 8's much less 3 of them in there trunk. It all depends on the sound u want. I prefer 2 12" JL's. But I like alot of bass. If u r looking 4 good sound with average "thump" I would go with 1 12" JL sub. NOTHING LESS!
