I have two concerns regarding my acura. First of all, the antenna just stopped coming up when you turn the radio on. Is there a way of checking this or do I need to buy a new unit?

My second problem is when it is really cold outside (winter time) the car will not pull out of park. It takes forever to get the thing in reverse or drive. I have let it run 45 minutes waiting to get it out of park. Any suggestions? I took it in for diagnostics and they couldn't find anything...

those thing go bad all the time. bit the bullet and replace the assembly.

i have had bad luck with just replacing the mast.

but its always a good idea to check fuses and such.

#2 there is a aluminum cover over your shifter cable and linkage on the
bottom side of the tranz. check to see if its there maybe reseal
it so water cant get in and freeze. and no more parking
under water.
