ive just started with this tuner stuff. my question is, is it possible to bolt an
automatic acura integra LS tranny to a gsr engine. please respond

yeah its possible but i wouldnt do it the peformance of the gsr engine will be lost due to trans gearing if i were you i would get ahold of a transmission off a b18 if your capable of driving a stick shift

hottnikkels1974 01-11-2009 10:50 PM

i have a 4 door LS, i dont want to go really fast but i do want to get up go
when necessary because it will be a daily driver but im tryna get as close to
200hp as i can with bolt on parts if its possible

yes on the transmission but it is weak and not recommended in a gsr.

AND

the grs engine develops its power at5000-8500rpm that auto transmission will shift at 5500.if you hold it back in gear till you hit red line then allow the transmission to shift, IT WILL BREAK.

IF a auto is going to be installed behind a gsr. then spend the bucks and have it build to handle the power.

maybe look into a 2000+ accord or cl v6 and auto swap into a tegra. thats 240+hp and massive dependability fit will be tight.
