Motor just shut off and CEL came on. I managed to repeatedly turn the key off and restart it long enough to limp home. CEL said MAP sensor, so I replaced it just for fun. <Sarcasm> Im headed to work the next morning, and about 10 mins into my highway trip, my tach starts bouncing... Jumping up and down, like a spring on crack. Said tach hits zero and car dies. I coast, restart car, dies, coast, you get the picture. I have recently replaced the injectors, rotor cap/button/coil/distributor, and now the MAP. So i hope its none of those. THe car runs fine cold, but when it reaches operating temp, dies. I got in my car when I was on break, started and let idle. Died 5 mins later, then would not restart at all untill it cooled down. Im thinking its the Engine Coolant Temp sensor.. ANy help?? Thanx in advance! |
