Hi. So i have a 91 tegi with a b20z and a jdm s1 tranny. as you know the S1 is really short geared so at 70 in 5th im at like 4500. I was wondering if i switch to an LS tranny how much "pep" would i lose and if my top speed right now is 110 what would it approximatly jump to??? oh and i have a type R flywheel.

Thanks.

ok, some of the best honda trannys are as follows,

YS1-cable tranny from 1st gen GSR
S80-hyraulic tranny from type r integra
S21-hydraulic tranny from 99-00 Civic Si

all of these trannys have great gear ratios and will bolt up to your motor. hydraulic trannys will require some work since your current setup should be a cable tranny.

as for speed and pep variations, all of these should help you to get up to more like 130-145 mph.
