Well i have a 91 acura integra 5spd, with a 94 motor swap, well i think the starter motor came off an even later model like a 98 or 97 integra. well 2 weeks prior to my starter problem, every day when i tried to start my car after it sat over nite it would be hard to start, when i turned the key it would just click, the sound came from the starter i think, it got progrisvley worst, take longer and longer for me to get the car started, then when i tried starting it it started right up but the starter was still tring to turn over, i turned the car off and it was still turning over it was starting to smoke a little bit. so like wuts the problem is the starter bad, or are the wires to the starter shorting the starter causeing it to countuinously turn over. i had to dissconect the battery for it to stop.
