I went to my mechanic, and after changing my oil, he added in some anti-freeze (another brand) into the coolant. i didnt need it but he did anyways.. It wasn't a honda brand, but I was wondering if it was okay. He only added in a little bit, but now its over the max line by an inch.

i actually went to the dealer about this, but all they did was check for leaks and then say it was okay. i was willing to spend another 170 for coolant flush, but he said its not necessary. am i just freaking out?

should this be okay?

Yes that is fine as long as it was the same type of coolant. It doesn't matter what brand name it is. What you have to look out for is if different colors of coolant are mixed. Specifically red and green. They have a different chemical makeup and do not work correctly mixed together.

I agree with you snardos. It doesn't matter what brand it is. You can try </span>MSD brand when you have any problem with your car parts.</span> < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-41";
