Hey whats up guys Its my first integra so please please help me out. I
have a 89 integra as a winter beater. Now its overheating every single
time I drive the car for like certain 10 or 15 minutes. The fans have
never come on yet so far. Its doesnt get to the red mark ever but its
just about 2 to 4 mimmeters short of it. I would say 3/4 of the gauge.
I just changed the thermostat so i dont think its that so please please
help me out. I also just changed the oil and it looks really good. No
coolant in it at all and I also have full coolant in my resovoir,
thanks a lot guys please help me out here

if the fan never comes on thats a bad thing it should be coming on if ur engine it hot mine comes on when the temp gauge is in the middle it still could be ur thermostat the best way to tell is to hook up a line to the top of the raditor and test it to see

fan fuses good?

fan temp switches good?

fan relays good?

no fans bad.

does it over heat at speed? like on the highway?

if not then focus on them fans again

both should come on with the A/C

1 should at 196 the other at 210.

I'm not familiar with the water pumps on these cars. Is there a
possibility that the impeller has separated from the shaft allowing the
shaft to spin but not moving any coolant?

i guess anything is possiable

but 25 years of teching i have never seen that.

more likely that the radiator needs to be cleaned out.

too many tumble weeds/punks with eclipes's stuck in it.
