ok heres my problem. when i turn on my healdlights my instrument panel
lights or tailights dont go on. i checked fuses. i was thinking a loose
ground because they cam on briefly once when i hit a bump. so where
would this ground be? it's integra '96 base

it maybe a ground or 2.

but i replace 1-2 headlight switches a month because of this problem.

tail lights ground in the rear of the vehicle. the dash grounds by your ankle.

Honda made vehicles are known for this in MHO..

I have 2 in our family and both do this.. note if you hit the hood with your fistright over the defective light it willpop back on.. and then when you go over a bump it will go back off..

I fixed this problem by replacing the bulb and placing a little salve, petroleum jelly, vasoline;what ever you want to call it, on the end of thelight bulb,it helps keep moisture off the contact and seems to help the conduction from being interupted.

Acuralegend is probably right about the switces due to the dash but my headlights due this on our two vehilces and the petro jell helps that issue

Hope this helps..Edited by: ndehelian
