Ok im getting ready to buy an Integra, and i was wondering if there is a difference between a 1999 GS and a GSR i thought they were both the same but i need to know this for sure before i buy the car. I know this is a dumb question but im new to the whole Integra thing.

Thanks

good question, I went through the same thing when I bought my first Teg. Here's thedifference. The GSR has anupgraded engine, transmission andsuspension. Both have a B18 engine but the GSR engineis a B18C1 engine codeand the GS it a B18B1(same as the LS).The GSRengine has V-TEC anda higher compression ratiowhich gives it ahigher redline of 8100 RPM. The GS redlineis around7000 RPM. I'm not positive on the horsepower numbers, butI think the GSR is around 20 HPmore . The GSR is the faster of the two. In my opinion the only downside to the GSR is Thieves want the engine in it far more than the GS(which is nonV-TEC)
