Default Headlight - Low beam question

I just acquired a 1996 Integra RS. It did not come with owner's manual. The electrical has been messed up when installing the stereo headunit so I am not sure I have the headlight issue or not. I did quite extensive google search and could not find an answer.

In Canada, we have day time running light which is the inner light bulb. When turn on the low beam, there is no increase in brightness for the inner light and the outter light is not on. It only turns on the the marker light. When turn on high beam, the outer light bulb is on.

I am wondering should the outer light be on when the low beam is turned on? If not, the low beam seems to be quite low in brightness.

Thanks.

Default Headlight Low beam question

I am looking for some help. The driverside headlight switches from low beam to high beam and high beam to low beam with no problem. the passenger side only works on high beam. I have check the wiring and change headlights. cant seem to find the problem, does anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to what It could be. Thanks

i think there is a light module. If you follow the wire that connects your bulb and follow it back until you see some electrical unit. Its most likely that part.

If your looking for diagrams and stuff, use this website they have diagrams to help you find the location of the part.

Default Headlight Low beam question

Quick question on how these work.

I have an HID kit right now but I dont have the high beam function. If I were to buy High/Low beam bulbs, would I be able to plug them into my ballasts and have them work fine?
