Hello I have a 96 Integra, non vtec, A\T The cooling fans do not turn on, making the car start to overheat. I put the hot air at max and it cools down. I have replaced the ect sensor and switch and still does not turn the fan on. They did come on once, when the car was already getting close to the red line on the temp display. They do come on when the ac is on. Any ideas? Thanks.. oh yeah I have already replaced the thermostat and radiator cap as well.Edited by: mojo_1977 |

< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </> i had the same problem with my teg but i got a 2 row radiator and dont need the fans anymore. try disconnecting your fans and running some wires to your battery, start the car and see if they turn on if they dont you might have broken fan motors. < =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-41"; urchinTracker(); </> |
ok quick test....
turn on your AC do the fans come on then??? if no then check fuses and relays there is 2 of each if yes but the fans dont turn on when the vehicle is hot and thermo sender had been replaced and fuses/relays checked. then get it to a shop and have the fan timer checked. btw there is 3 temp senders on these cars. did you replace the 1 close to the oil filter? it runs the fan circuit. the others run the guage and comp. < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-41"; urchinTracker(); </> |
