98 integra here again. my clutch problem is undetermined still by many mechanics.
when i shift from gear to gear it has a difficulty going into gear, but it does. no grinding, but clicking as it engages.
no popping out of gears.
i replaced the master cylinder & slave cylinder recently and it is a lot better, the pedal is tighter.
but it still has issues shifting gear to gear SMOOTHLY! LIKE IT SHOULD!
it is almost impossible to downshift into 2nd gear, say before i turn a corner. it never used to be like that. Do i need a new clutch entirely?

I know this sounds crazy but your input shaft is hanging up on your pilot bearing/flywheel bushing. As your motor is spinning the flywheel the input shaft is spinning at a diffrent speed until the cluch is let out. when the cluch is in the trans is catching on the bearing and keeping your input shaft spinning so the tans is not slowing down and not allowing the servos or gears to mesh and alow you to shift. so you will want to replace the bushing or bearing and use hi temp wheel bearing grease. but not a lot it will sling off and cover your disc
